GroundGuard — Privacy Policy

Who This Covers

This policy applies to GroundGuard, a walking-awareness aid that watches the ground ahead with your camera, published by Jent Innovations. Other Jent Innovations apps have their own policies.

What We Collect

Jent Innovations does not collect, sell or share your personal information through GroundGuard. The app has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics SDK, and no tracking across other apps or websites.

What Stays on Your Device

• Your settings (the list of recent alerts is kept only while the app is open)

This data is kept in the app's private storage. Deleting the app removes it. It may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups under your device settings.

Permissions

GroundGuard may ask for the following. Each is optional and you can change it in iOS Settings at any time.

• Camera: analysed live on your device while GroundGuard is open, to spot people and drop-offs. Frames are not recorded, stored or uploaded.
• Motion: used to tell when you are walking and holding the phone tilted down.

Network Use

GroundGuard contains no networking code.

Purchases

GroundGuard has no purchases or advertising.

Sharing and Export

GroundGuard has nothing to export.

Your Choices

You can delete any data inside the app, revoke permissions in iOS Settings, or delete the app to remove all of its local data. Because we hold no data about you, we cannot look up, export or delete anything on our side.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
