HuntersMap — Privacy Policy
Who This Covers
This policy applies to HuntersMap, a field map and hunting journal for hunters, published by Jent Innovations. Other Jent Innovations apps have their own policies.
What We Collect
Jent Innovations does not collect, sell or share your personal information through HuntersMap. The app has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics SDK, and no tracking across other apps or websites.
What Stays on Your Device
- Waypoints (stands, blinds, parking and similar) with the notes and coordinates you enter
- Season dates you enter, and license and tag details you choose to save, including any harvest notes
This data is kept in the app's private storage. Deleting the app removes it. It may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups under your device settings.
Permissions
HuntersMap may ask for the following. Each is optional and you can change it in iOS Settings at any time.
- Location (while in use): used to show your position on the map. Your location is not sent to us.
Network Use
HuntersMap displays maps through Apple Maps (MapKit). Apple receives the map area you view under Apple's privacy policy. Sunrise and sunset are calculated on your device. The Rules screen opens web searches in your browser only when you tap a button. We run no servers and receive no data.
Purchases
HuntersMap has no purchases or advertising.
Sharing and Export
HuntersMap has no sharing features in this version.
Your Choices
You can delete any data inside the app, revoke permissions in iOS Settings, or delete the app to remove all of its local data. Because we hold no data about you, we cannot look up, export or delete anything on our side.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
