ShelfLife — Privacy Policy
Who This Covers
This policy applies to ShelfLife, a pantry tracker that reminds you before food expires, published by Jent Innovations. Other Jent Innovations apps have their own policies.
What We Collect
Jent Innovations does not collect, sell or share your personal information through ShelfLife. The app has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics SDK, and no tracking across other apps or websites.
What Stays on Your Device
- Items, quantities and expiry dates you enter
- Your reminder settings
This data is kept in the app's private storage. Deleting the app removes it. It may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups under your device settings.
Permissions
ShelfLife may ask for the following. Each is optional and you can change it in iOS Settings at any time.
- Notifications (optional): used to remind you before items expire, using notifications scheduled on your device. You can turn them off in iOS Settings.
Network Use
ShelfLife contains no networking code and does not connect to any server.
Purchases
ShelfLife is free. It has no purchases or advertising.
Sharing and Export
You can export your list as CSV with the iOS share sheet.
Your Choices
You can delete any data inside the app, revoke permissions in iOS Settings, or delete the app to remove all of its local data. Because we hold no data about you, we cannot look up, export or delete anything on our side.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
