StartleGuard — Privacy Policy

Who This Covers

This policy applies to StartleGuard, a log and reference app for families managing startle-triggered episodes, published by Jent Innovations. Other Jent Innovations apps have their own policies.

What We Collect

Jent Innovations does not collect, sell or share your personal information through StartleGuard. The app has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics SDK, and no tracking across other apps or websites.

What Stays on Your Device

• Profile details you enter, such as name, date of birth, weight, medication and notes
• Incident log entries you create

This data is kept in the app's private storage. Deleting the app removes it. It may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups under your device settings.

Permissions

StartleGuard does not request any special permissions.

Network Use

StartleGuard contains no networking code and does not connect to any server. Tapping a phone number or a "Find help near you" button opens the Phone app or Apple Maps, which searches near your location under Apple's privacy policy. Nothing is sent to us.

Purchases

StartleGuard has no purchases or advertising.

Sharing and Export

You can export a text report with the iOS share sheet. Where it goes is your choice. Health information in it is only as private as where you send it.

Not Medical Advice

StartleGuard is a personal logging and reference tool. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Your Choices

You can delete any data inside the app, revoke permissions in iOS Settings, or delete the app to remove all of its local data. Because we hold no data about you, we cannot look up, export or delete anything on our side.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
